Simple Kanban Board
Organize your tasks in columns. Simple version of Trello saved in your browser.
What is a Kanban Board?
Kanban is a visual method for managing work. It allows you to visualize your tasks, limit work in progress, and maximize efficiency. This simple board provides you with a basic version of tools like Trello or Jira, directly in your browser.
- Columns: Represent the different stages of your workflow (e.g., "To Do", "In Progress", "Done").
- Cards: Represent individual tasks that move through the columns.
- Persistent and Private: Your entire board (columns and tasks) is saved in your browser's local storage. You can close the tab and your data will still be here when you return. Nothing is sent to our servers.
How to Use the Board
- Add Tasks: Type a new task in the top text field and click "Add Task". It will automatically appear in the "To Do" column.
- Move and Reorder: Click and drag any card to move it to another column or to change its order within the same column.
- Delete Tasks: Drag a card towards the trash can icon next to the "Add Task" button. When the trash can turns red and enlarges, release the card to permanently delete it.
Advantages of Using a Kanban Board
Adopting a Kanban system, even one as simple as this, can bring great benefits to your personal or team productivity:
- Visual Clarity: See all your work at a glance, making it easy to identify bottlenecks and priorities.
- Focus on Finishing: The method promotes the idea of "stop starting and start finishing," helping you concentrate on completing tasks before taking on new ones.
- Flexibility: Unlike more rigid methods, Kanban is adaptable to almost any type of project.
